Gifted/IQ Testing
To be eligible for the gifted program a student must be tested by a qualified professional. The student must score at least a 130 on the IQ test to be eligible for the gifted program.
Once deemed eligible for the gifted program the student is entitled special accommodations such as but not limited to:
A differentiated curriculum that facilitates the mastery of core academic skills at a pace
and level appropriate to gifted learners.
A curriculum that replaces, supplements or modifies existing curriculum and access to teachers with additional credentials needed to teach students in the gifted program.
Hollywood Psychology has a qualified Broward Public School Psychologist on staff to administer the gifted test to students interested in being placed in the gifted program.
The fee for a gifted evaluation with a comprehensive report that meets the Broward County and Miami-Dade school guidelines is $550
